1Why this policy exists

Every CODED. System runs on the same platform foundations and on partner infrastructure. This policy keeps them secure, lawful and reliable for every Client.

2A System may not be used to

  • Break any law, including data protection, consumer protection and electronic communications law
  • Store or send content that's unlawful, defamatory, infringing or harmful
  • Send unsolicited bulk messages, by email, WhatsApp or any other channel, or break the terms of a messaging service connected to the System
  • Process personal information without a lawful basis
  • Spread malware, or try to gain unauthorised access to any system or data
  • Probe, scan or test the security of a System or the CODED. Platform without our written permission
  • Overload, disrupt or interfere with a System or its infrastructure
  • Resell, share or give access to anyone who isn't an Authorised User

3Connected services

When a System connects to other providers' services, such as online stores, payment providers, accounting software or messaging platforms, the Client must also keep to those services' own terms.

4If this policy is broken

Where it's needed to protect the Client, other clients or the platform, we may suspend access to the part of a System involved, and we'll tell the Client why. Serious or repeated breaches may lead to termination under the Client's agreement.

5Reporting misuse

Please report suspected misuse to info@coded.co.za.
