1Who we are

CODED. is the software division of ANEESD (Pty) Ltd, a company registered in South Africa (ANEESD, we, us). CODED. designs, builds, licenses, hosts and supports business software, all built on its own platform, CODED. Core.

These terms apply to your use of coded.co.za and to any work with CODED., together with the other policies in our Legal centre.

2How our documents fit together

Every client relationship is set out in a written agreement, such as a proposal, order or service agreement, accepted by both parties. That agreement includes these terms and these policies:

  • Software Licence: how CODED. Core and the systems built on it are licensed
  • Service and Support: how systems are hosted, maintained and supported
  • Data Processing Terms: how we handle personal information inside client systems
  • Privacy Policy, Security, Acceptable Use and Cookies and Device Storage

Where your agreement and a policy differ on a point, your agreement applies.

3Using this website

  • Use the site lawfully, without interfering with how it works or with anyone else's use of it
  • Don't try to reach parts of the site or our systems that aren't meant for you, or probe, scan or test their security without our written permission
  • Don't copy, scrape or reuse the site's content, design or code; sharing links to it is welcome

4The demonstrations on this site

The software shown on this site runs a fictional business, Dunder Mifflin, with fictional people, orders and figures. It shows how CODED. works. It isn't a client, and its figures aren't results or promises.

5Intellectual property

CODED., CODED. Core, the CODED. Framework, the CODED. mark and wordmark, this website and everything on it belong to ANEESD and are protected by copyright and other intellectual property law. You may view the site; nothing on it gives you any other right to them.

Other companies' names on this site, such as Shopify, WhatsApp and Xero, belong to their owners. We use them only to describe what our software works with; it doesn't mean they partner with or endorse us.

6Information on this site

We keep the site accurate and current, but it describes what CODED. does in general. What we'll deliver for you, and on what terms, is set out in your agreement.

7Liability for this website

As far as the law allows, we aren't liable for loss arising from using this website or relying on its content. Nothing in these terms limits any liability that South African law doesn't allow to be limited, including under the Consumer Protection Act where it applies.

8Changes to these terms

We may update these terms and our policies. The version and date at the top of each document show when it last changed. Changes that materially affect clients are announced in advance, through your support channel or by email.

9Law and disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa, and its courts have jurisdiction.

Before going to court, both parties will try in good faith to settle any dispute through discussion between senior representatives.
